These terms govern your use of faunaiq.ca and the Trapline IQ application, operated by Fauna IQ Innovations Inc. By creating an account, you accept them.

Eligibility

You must be 14 or older to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must have set the account up for you.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.

Your data is yours

The data you enter — traps, visits, captures, routes, notes, photographs — belongs to you. We host it in order to provide the service. You may export it or request its deletion at any time.

Regulatory responsibility

Trapline IQ helps you keep records and prepare official documents. It does not stand in your place for your legal obligations. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your declarations, for submitting them to the competent authorities, and for complying with the trapping regulations that apply to you.

Safety in the field

The application is not a safety device. Maps, GPS positions and route-related features are provided for guidance and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on them as your only means of navigation or rescue. Always carry an independent means of communication and orientation.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is". We may modify, suspend or discontinue it. Trapline IQ is under development: features may change before release.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Quebec and in Canada.
